How I might have been named Barak(ah?)
A recent spate of babies born in Kisumu in Western Kenya have been named "Barak" according to news reports. True, the girl babies have been named "Michelle," but isn't it possible that a feminine form of Barak might be Barakah and that every girl baby named after Barak could be named such? And btw, since I was born in Kisumu many years ago, mightn't it have been possible that my parents could have called me by that name as well???
