Birdie on #3

Managed to birdie a par 3 on a round of golf yesterday--between gardening and editing. It was one of those perfect Maine days when it was a _crime_ to be inside...

Sounds like you are having a great academic summer! Blogging more often, too :-), and very interesting stuff.

P.S. And congratulations on the golf. I barely know what birdie and par mean, but I gather it's good.

Well done! Our course in Walpole (Maine) doesn't look nearly as green as yours. I had a tremendous putt on Sunday but my son was walking off the green and missed it. Ain't that the way.
