Another Audio Bible
"The Word of Promise," another audio bible is being released soon. We can hear Terence Stamp as the voice of God and Richard Dreyfuss as Moses. For historical information, the producer told NPR that he used Men and Women of the Bible. I'm all for treating the bible as an oral text but will it leave room for imagination?

The more an audio Bible is dramatized the less it allows/encourages us to interact with our imaginations. However, unlike writing, speech is easy to forget and move on from. So for our PodBible.com audio Bible podcasts we felt we had to add open ended something to think about, something to pray about and something to do, in the hopes of getting people's imaginations in gear!
