The hummingbird wants the same thing, right?
So where can you go in Chelsea for a serious cup of coffee?
Cafe Grumpy of course (see link to online shop for you out of towners) at 224 W. 20th Street. Cafe Grumpy roasts their own beans.
Not in Chelsea? Yesterday's Times' reviews serious coffee places in NYC. Going out for coffee with Coco and Reuben is a sensible idea with all the construction of faculty offices upstairs! Spring Break starts tomorrow which doesn't hurt either.

I'm actually going to be making a guest appearance at GTU next week (covering Chuck Robertson's class on Acts) and am grateful for the suggestion as to where to get good coffee.
Perhaps our paths will cross, a sort of unofficial bibliobloggers' coffee time...
James,
Can you send me an email about when exactly you will be at GTS? I'd be glad to meet (although I am away this week for Spring Break).
Deirdre
