Hope it was fun. I wish AAR and SBL hadn't uncoupled their annual meetings. (Rumor has it they are getting back together in a few years.) I was tempted to go to both but had to stick to AAR for a variety of reasons. I miss seeing all my biblical scholar friends. At least our regional meeting (Southeast - terrific group, very collegial, good programs) is keeping AAR and SBL together.
I must say unscientifically that there were so many men! I had to be reminded all over again about the sociological realities of our field. There were no problems getting into restaurants on Boylston and Newbury Streets which was nice.
